As Hurricane Florence approaches our state, management teams have been monitoring the situation to determine an appropriate plan of action. As such, it has been decided that all centers will open at normal times tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 11, but Grand Strand and Lowcountry centers will close at 5 p.m. to allow for center staff to get home safely and make any necessary preparations. Any future closures will be determined by the forecast, which can change quickly. Department managers are meeting every morning to discuss operations as the storm progresses, and will send updates regarding each day’s anticipated hours or closures.
Please check the Staff Updates webpage regularly for information, the page can be found at https://doctorscare.com/staffupdates/; and a link to this page can be found at the bottom of DoctorsCare.com. The Staff Updates page will be revised every day by noon with any new information or plans. It will be updated more frequently as determined by developments in the weather. We encourage everyone to make preparations and plans for impending weather, and we will plan operations in a way that keeps our staff safe while still providing quality care to the patients who count on us.
