All regions are scheduled to return to normal hours Monday unless you’ve been told otherwise by your center manager. Due to select weather related issues in the Grand Strand region, DC Little River, DC North Myrtle, and DC & PPT South Irby locations will be closed Monday, and center managers will communicate with any affected staff.
*SPECIAL NOTE: Thank you for your steadfast efforts and professionalism over the last week, I’m proud to work with such dedicated colleagues at our organization. I know we’re all grateful that Hurricane Florence spared our state any devastating impact, and now our thoughts are with our neighbors in North Carolina as they begin to recover. As we continue to move through a hurricane season that’s predicted to be busy, let’s remember to draw on this recent exercise so that we’re prepared for the next one. Thank you, again.*
REPORTING DAMAGE – 2 Steps
1. Report via Help Desk: Please continue to use the IT and Facilities help desk to report any damage that needs attention or repair. Support teams are monitoring the help desk to respond where needed as quickly as possible.
2. Document via Email: Please document any damaged structures or equipment (especially any fixed assets with blue tags) by taking a photo of the damage and its tag number and emailing it to [email protected]. This step is very important for insurance purposes. If possible, keep any damaged equipment or supplies in an out-of-the-way space (like an unused exam room) until the insurance adjuster can come by your center. If damaged supplies need to be disposed of quickly, please photograph the items first.
Please remember, if any systems go down in your center, please refer to the Downtime Procedure Binder for instructions on how to continue seeing patients and maintaining business workflows.
Thank you, again. See you Monday.
