Based on current storm projections and traffic constraints due to evacuation routes, our Doctors Care and PPT centers in the Grand Strand and Lowcountry regions will be closing early today to allow for staff to make any necessary preparations or travel arrangements. Center managers have already communicated early closures to their affected centers, and will alert staff to any new plans that may develop.
Because it’s still possible for the storm to change course and spare our coast major impact, management teams will monitor the storm and meet throughout the day to determine if any additional closures will be announced or prolonged. We will attempt to have a final decisions for Wednesday’s schedule communicated to all staff by 5 p.m. today, please wait to be contacted by your center manager for instruction or updates, or check the Staff Updates webpage on DoctorsCare.com. (https://doctorscare.com/staffupdates/)
If we are able to do so safely, our centers will stay open to serve the communities in which we operate. However, if weather or traffic conditions make it unsafe for you to get to work, please stay home or in a safe place, and notify your operations and management teams.
Thank you for your patience and dedication during this uncertain time.
