This prestigious accreditation reflects the organization’s continued dedication to meeting the rigorous standards set by the UCA for quality patient care, safety, and the breadth of services offered.
Earning this distinction involved a comprehensive survey, including an onsite evaluation by UCA surveyors, demonstrating that Doctors Care adheres to the highest benchmarks in urgent care. Accreditation is crucial for distinguishing urgent care centers, like Doctors Care, from others in the marketplace by establishing a recognized standard of care. It also positions these centers to qualify for in-network care with many insurance providers, ensuring greater patient care access.
Urgent care centers are vital in bridging the gap between primary care and emergency room services, providing immediate treatment for non-life-threatening conditions. Doctors Care offers a much-needed alternative when a primary care physician is unavailable, and the situation doesn’t warrant an emergency room visit. By diverting non-emergency cases away from emergency rooms, Doctors Care helps reduce healthcare costs for patients through lower co-pays and out-of-pocket expenses and for employers in terms of overall healthcare charges.
