LEXINGTON, SC – October 17, 2023 – Doctors Care Urgent Care, in partnership with the Lexington Chamber, held an inaugural “Doctors Care Gives Back” event today at Doctors Care Hope Ferry in Lexington, South Carolina. This event, driven by Doctors Care Urgent Care’s unwavering dedication to the Lexington community, was a meaningful opportunity to extend support to a local non-profit organization and kick off Patient Appreciation Week at the Hope Ferry location.

The event featured notable speakers who shared their insights and appreciation for the ongoing support of the Lexington community. Terry Gunn, Interim Chief Operating Officer for UCI Medical Affiliates, stated, “We are deeply committed to giving back to the community that has shown us incredible support. A significant highlight of the event was the introduction of the Hope Ferry staff, with special recognition given to the lead provider, Dr. Payam Yousefian. Dr. Yousefian expressed his profound satisfaction in serving the Lexington community and the surrounding areas, reaffirming Doctors Care’s commitment to exceptional patient care.

In a gesture of support for the Lexington community, Doctors Care Urgent Care presented a generous donation check to the Dickerson Children’s Advocacy Center. This non-profit organization provides essential therapeutic and investigative services to abused children and their non-abusive family members. Their mission is to offer comprehensive assessment and treatment services to physically and sexually abused children throughout the Midlands of South Carolina.

Upon receiving the donation check, Darlene Paradise, Director of Development for the Dickerson Children’s Advocacy Center, expressed her gratitude.
